This Privacy Policy explains how lostark-raid-bot collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the bot on Discord.
1. Information we collect
The bot may collect and store the following information:
- Discord user IDs;
- Discord server IDs;
- Discord channel IDs and message IDs needed to operate bot views and dashboards;
- character names and roster entries you add;
- raid progress, checklist status, preferences, and settings;
- subscription or entitlement status if paid features are enabled;
- command usage, error IDs, diagnostic logs, and timestamps needed for security, debugging, and service reliability.
The bot does not intentionally collect your Discord password, payment card details, private Discord messages unrelated to bot use, or sensitive personal information.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- provide roster, raid, checklist, reminder, and planning features;
- remember your preferences and saved characters;
- enforce free or paid feature limits;
- refresh bot dashboards and views without requiring users to rerun commands;
- diagnose bugs and support requests;
- prevent abuse, rate-limit misuse, and keep the service reliable;
- comply with legal, platform, or safety requirements.
3. Discord and payment data
The bot operates on Discord and may receive information from Discord APIs, such as user IDs, server IDs, channel IDs, command interactions, and entitlement data.
If paid features are offered through Discord Premium Apps, Discord handles payment processing. We do not receive your full payment card details from Discord.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share limited information only when necessary with:
- Discord, as part of normal bot operation;
- hosting, logging, backup, or infrastructure providers;
- payment platforms if paid features are offered outside Discord where permitted;
- legal authorities if required by law;
- service providers helping us operate, secure, or debug the bot.
5. Data retention
We keep bot data for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, prevent abuse, maintain backups, or comply with legal/platform requirements.
Backups may retain deleted or changed data for a limited period before they are overwritten or removed.

You may request deletion of your bot data by contacting:
We may need your Discord user ID to verify and process the request. Some data may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or records needed for security, abuse prevention, billing, or legal compliance.
Server administrators may remove the bot from a server, but that may not automatically delete all user-specific data.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect bot data, including access controls, backups, and token/secret handling practices.
No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The bot is intended for Discord users who are allowed to use Discord under Discord’s own rules. We do not knowingly collect information from children who are not permitted to use Discord.
9. International users
The bot may be hosted and operated in the United States. By using the bot, you understand that information may be processed in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.
You may use the bot only where your use of Discord, Lost Ark, and this bot is permitted under applicable laws, platform rules, and service terms.
